Someone told her about Aunamee and I.
Or at least she somehow figured it out that we are acquainted enough that Aunamee would find out secrets about her from me.
[He doesn't ask, but there is an accusatory tone of sorts to his words that make it obvious that he's wondering if AM was the one who let that slip somehow.]

But trust me, my dear, I had no motivation to go spilling it to anyone. After all, I wouldn't want to upset any of your dear clients. And I wouldn't want to upset a dear friend like you.
[And that's actually the truth. He never cared enough to tell others, nor was he ever jealous about Aunamee having another lover - except that one time when he was. Daniel is okay, he supposes. AM would be viciously angry, though, if Aunamee took someone like Javert as a lover.]
But then again, Riley's accusations seemed to be far more detailed than just finding out that you are sleeping with a notorious murderer. I do wonder what more there is to this story.

[He sounds like he's in disbelief, because he is, but... if it is the truth, it would make him feel almost bad for telling Javert he'd rather tear out his own tongue than be considered as someone "close" to AM. Almost.
He's still jealous of AM and his relationship with Aunamee after all so he can't be too bothered by the idea of being rude to him.
... He would be right on board with AM if Aunamee took Javert as a lover too though. He's forced himself to repress the urge to get very violently angry about him and AM as it is, but all bets are off if Aunamee thinks he can keep this yandere from not reacting to a third person suddenly being that involved with him...]
It seems Aunamee told her himself information from our therapy sessions, but I think she still had someone else somehow confirm it for her as well, because otherwise I don't think she would have actually believed what he had to say, given her fear of him.

There are many who fear Aunamee. He's not exactly subtle about his intentions.
