I wouldn't mind doing that for you, but why?
no subject
It doesn't make a lot of sense to fix you if you're just going to injure yourself more, or tear your stitches. You won't heal if you keep scratching, doctor.
no subject
Fair enough. That might make work difficult though for the next few days.
[Or... eating...]
no subject
I have two solutions in mind. For one, I help to remove the remaining eyes and your healthy feathers, to remove the temptation as well. For the other...I stay with you. I can assist with some things. You've helped me a lot, so it would be fair. The only problem I can think is the potential to break confidentiality for another. I'd rather not.
no subject
I won't. [...] Break confidentiality, I mean. You can trust me on that.
[As long as it means not resorting to that first option because no. Just no.]
no subject
Okay. I'll let Zack know I won't be at home. Do you have something around here that we could bind you with? Something you can't break with your angel strength...
no subject
[... Danny, why do you have--actually, no, maybe don't answer that.]
no subject
Mm. And you won't break through? As far as you know.
no subject
[It's not like he's been tied up before recently enough to know for certain, Rachel. But also, it's probably a good thing that it is Rachel here, because literally anyone else would probably find all this very questionable right now.]
no subject
Either way, she won't be bringing anything else back with her. She'll save that for after he's bound, if she really feels the need.]
Hm... A knot that will hold, but I can undo easily enough...It'd be unfortunate to have to cut them just because you lose circulation to your hands.
[something so minor, you know. anyway, to work!!! No more scratching for you, mister.]
no subject
Though maybe we should try bringing up that idea about getting tied up to Aunamee sometime--I MEANWith the rope in the closet, there was also a raincoat hanging up, different kinds of tape, a toolbox, a crowbar, a shovel, a box to retrieve bags for garbage from, a tarp, cleaning solutions for getting difficult stains out... you know, totally normal stuff that could be found in a guy's belongings, I'm sure. Assuming that was the first place you had looked instead of the kitchen, that is.
ANYWAY--]
Of course. That would be very unfortunate, given that I need my hands to be able to work.

a n y w a y .]
Don't be silly. I'd remove the restraints if I was worried you'd lose functionality of them. I'll be keeping an eye on their color so that we don't have to worry about a clot forming before it's too late to safely untie you.
[Every couple of hours, she'll loosen them up for a while. She's got this.
Once she's done with the knots, she nods, obviously satisfied with her work.]
No pulling. You'll hurt your wrists. [Umm...] What kind of work do you need to get done?
no subject
Mostly typing up reports on patients, but those can be done via the laptop here, along with therapy sessions with my other clients. However, I am free today in regards to the latter, unless someone new contacts me asking to schedule a visit with them.
no subject
Mm... Even if I don't really pay attention, I'd remember too much of what I typed... We can't rely on my slime memory. That's no good. You're okay with working more slowly because of the restraints?
no subject
That's fine. If necessary, we can use speech to text instead, too.
no subject
Mm... In that case, I should go in another room while you work... Oh. I can water your plants. And there's stuff to read...
[easy]
Unless you had something you wanted me to do, like...shopping, or making dinner. [???] Before any of that, though, I'd like to borrow your laptop to leave a message for Zack.
no subject
[The offer to water his plants or make dinner is... unexpected. But it gets a smile out of him--it's easy to imagine, almost, that this is what things could have been like had they still been in that building. The way Danny wanted things to be, back then, before too much happened.]
Sure, of course you can borrow my computer... ah, just be careful about telling Zack where you are.
[Still not very keen on Zack learning where we live, even with Rachel here to intervene should either of them be unable to control their homicidal urges toward one another.]
no subject
Mm. I'm aware of the risks. But he knows I'm with you, and if I don't tell him I'm not coming back tonight...
[doc would suuuuuper die]
I'll use a generic backdrop, so he can't try to figure it out. [Not that she thinks that was a likely possibility. Never know with Zack! Beautiful chaos, that boy. Ray slips her fingers carefully under the laptop and starts to consider her options.] No scratching. I'll be back soon.
no subject
[But otherwise, he'll sit still and wait for her return!
While she's typing up her message to Zack, is she going to snoop around some more?]
no subject
So. Here's your laptop, doc. She tried really hard to not goop it up, wasn't that nice?]
Would you be able to hold off and call for me if you wanted to hurt yourself when I'm in another room? [There's shit to do.]
no subject
[A sentiment that might be sweet, if it was coming from literally anyone other than Danny maybe.]
no subject
no subject
Congratulations, you found the room where he's keeping all of his medical equipment and other shady shit. There's several unfriendly looking tools either hanging up, organized in a drawer, or on a shelf nearby, and a couple of lab coats hanging up. There's also an examination table set up in the middle of the room with an overhead light, very similar to the one you might remember from Danny's floor. However, it's clean in here and doesn't look like there's any sign someone died on this table... at least, not recently.
... Oh, and did I mention the eyes? Because they're in here too: there's a display case where he's keeping his jars of eyes that he's collected from some of the humans he's killed in this place. The room is colder in comparison to the rest of the apartment so as to keep them from withering or rotting too quickly. There's also a filing cabinet (which is locked) but if she somehow manages to open it, it contains his notes and observations of the eyes in his collection and who they previously belonged to.]
no subject
Back to chores and also digging through his room for clothes or blankets that might need any sewing done, she gives no fucks.]
no subject
There's a few shirts and pants with tears in them in the bedroom that she can probably find and sew, what with the amount of fights he got into with Zack before she came back, or just from general mishaps when dealing with less than cooperative meals--I mean, humans.
There is three notable things about the bedroom that makes it stand out from other people's, though: the mirror has a sheet hanging over it, and it looks like there's something written on the wall in direct eyeline of where someone would see it when waking and getting up for the day. The bedside drawer also has some of his glass eyes in them, of various colors depending on whichever one fits a look he wants to go for on a particular day.]
