[ Riou doesn't text back for a while, assuming he's already busy. Except then he doesn't hear him coming home? So later than night he sends another text, if only because Jyuto essentially never leaves his texts unanswered for too long. ]

Yes, sorry. I was distracted with a new case that came up today. Nothing too dangerous, but it may be a while before I'm able to talk freely.

[ Fortunately, Danny hasn't said anything too alarming that would cause Riou to try to hack Jyuto's phone and track his GPS because Jyuto and Riou are crazy people about making sure the other is OK. ]

[Funny story, Danny probably wouldn't even realize it if the phone got hacked, given that he still hasn't caught on that people can tell when their text has been read but not answered by someone here.]
