[ He can't help but be fascinated by the modern understanding of science. The best way to learn about the world is to keep an open mind, after all...
But that's beside the point. ]
I don't plan on forcing myself to remember my dreams, but I keep thinking back to that nightmare incident a few days ago... I think I dreamt about... Either my father or completing my father's work? [ That's as much as he remembers now. ] Which is odd, considering I haven't given much thought to that man for quite some time now.
[Danny says, considering it for a moment. Not the nightmare incident exactly, because it would probably be best for Danny to not say anything about it where he's personally concerned, but in regards to the dream Luca had here.]
Do you think it's related at all with your memory loss? Come to think of it... were you able to remember him all that way before the recent incident occurred?
In a sense. My father was not involved with the accident, but I didn't think too much about him before this incident... I was more focused on that invention, you see, trying to hold on to what I could so I could finish it when I got the chance...
[ ... He can't help but think back to that conversation he had with the farm... Centaur...? That woman. The one who has trouble with written messages.
Not that he mentions her as he admits this much: ] Though, yesterday I remembered wanting to finish a draft belonging to my father when I was younger. It was incomplete when I found it, I know that much... But I can't be entirely sure if it has anything to do with my invention or why trying to think of who my father was brings me a sense of shame.
[Danny frowns at that as he listens... sympathetic to Luca's troubles, maybe? It's hard to tell with Danny sometimes.]
Could it be guilt, perhaps? It's not uncommon for people with amnesia to feel that when they start to remember someone that is often considered very important in one's life, like your parents or a close friend.
Oh, well that's impressive! Have you been able to recall anything about this university as well, such as your classes or the people that you attended those classes with?
[ He tries to think... And mutters to himself... ]
There were my father's drafts... Then something about that admission letter... I know I was an apprentice under Lorenz before... Urgh, that incident...

[ He furrows his brow... ] But I think I was accepted to a university at some point. Not the easiest place to get into, where I'm from.

Not a thing. I think the acceptance letter got torn up, somehow...

[... Well, that's awkward.]
Is there anything that you've been able to recall recently?
